The materials presented are to be used as introductory bible study. It is our intent and purpose to present clearly the great truths of the Bible. The beginning steps for the believer are to 'get a grip' on the basic Bible doctrines of Scripture.
To know what we believe and gain faith and confidence in those beliefs makes strong Christians. By entrusting ourselves to the teaching of the Holy Spirit we can have that hope.
We know that God's will is for each person to have faith and knowledge in the Lord Jesus Christ. These studies are intended to lead a person to that basic knowledge without controversy, and then as we grow in grace and knowledge our desire for deeper study should, and must, go on to a greater level of maturity.
A few pratical suggestions:
* Basic bible studies scripture references are linked to The Bible Gateway (New American Standard). Other translations and languages are accessible, as well.
* Each basic bible study has a linked set of follow up study questions. We encourage the disciple to print a copy of the questions, answer them completely, and then put the completed study questions in some type of discipleship notebook for future reference. It will be very encouraging and interesting to be able to look back and see the disciple's development and growth over time.
* Feel free to print and make copies of the bible studies, as needed for off-line study.
